Sumit Nagal reaches the quarter-finals at ATP 100 Trieste
Qualifier Sumit Nagal defeated former World No.16 Marco Cecchinato in straight sets to book his place in the quarter-finals of the ATP 100 Challenger in Trieste.
Cecchinato had just won an ATP Challenger title in late June, making this an impressive win for Nagal.
Next up: 17-year-old Maxim Mrva (Czech Republic, ranked 501), a former Junior World No.2. The match will be played tomorrow.
